This in the end is one of those films that you would expect to be funny, and somehow over your expectations in a way that you never imagined possible. A movie that makes you laugh so hard, literally gasping for breath. The movie you are quoting for years, watched repeatedly and just refer to him as one of my favorite movies. Believe it or not, this is good as it is. As Seth Rogen film viewers have been waiting for since Pineapple Express, the most amusing of Superbad. In this day and age, its hard to make this a memorable comedy, where time and time again, the same jokes are recycled. Every actor in the film playing a satirical version of himself. Seth Rogen is a pothead, Danny McBride crawling, James Franco is a poser, fake man Jonah Hill, Jay Sublime is one shy and token black friend Craig Robinson. They play stereotypes to their advantage, and the fact that they are aware make room for even more fun. This is true for the rest of the cast of comedy cameos, all except for Michael Cera. A kind of funny surprises with Michael Cera, but I dont want to destroy in this review. Not only does the film work as a comedy, surprisingly also serves as a horror film. There are plenty of exciting showdowns fears and jump wrong during the faux-apocalypse that will leave you on the edge of your seats with anticipation cackling with joy. There is not much I want to talk anymore, because a movie like this is better seen to be believed. What can I say? Sit back, relax and get ready to laugh your ass off.
