Dustin Hoff Mans performance as Raymond Babbitt is, bar none, the best action performance that I seen.I never seen an actor get so deeply immersed in nature but Hoffman makes this film.He is great here, and he deserved nothing less than an Oscar won it.As for Tom Cruise, his performance as Raymond childish and hotheaded brother channel is also worth note.To watch his character can cast their ignorance of the way the film did delight.If you have not seen, so dont get rid any longer .
