Difficulty baseball scout in his last years to his daughter, as well as one of the last recruiting trip.
I usually do not like movies about sports. I love sports, but sports movies. That being said, this film is not so much about baseball as it is about relationship father and daughter. He also mentioned how technology has made the human element of scouting players. This film is full of money ball opposite, where technology really helps in building a team. Gus Lobel (Clint Eastwood) is an aging scout for the Atlanta Braves who is struggling with his vision and the fees office questions , a front whether he was still spotting up and coming talent for the job. Because of this tragedy, Gus is an angry man who really adds a lot of humor in the film. His character reminds me of the kind of character that Eastwood played a Grand Torino. His daughter, Mickey (Amy Adams) knows that her father is difficult, people are reluctant to have the care of the father and the bread list nh as the search for adventure. This way, she knows more about baseball than perhaps any other in the film. Johnny Flanagan (Justin Timberlake) is an aspiring sports commentator, who has five detective Gus. The relationship that develops between Mickey (named after Mickey Mantle), and Johnny is so much fun to watch and gives an insight into Mickeys reluctance to develop a serious relationship with any man. Pete Klein (John Goodman) plays the role of an intermediary that brings together Mickey and Gus. I really like the unyielding devotion and trust in Gus. It is also good to see again, Scott Eastwood (Bill Clark) Act, along with his father. They acted together in several films, and it is good to see them spend family time together. I think the whole cast really makes this movie better, and I believe it will attract young audiences and o theater. I do not think this movie is absolutely brilliant, but it is thoroughly entertaining. There are aspects of the film that is completely predictable, but I hope it will be played. Directed by Robert Lorenz could not hit it out of the park (as he did with Million Dollar Baby), but I think it's a trio clinic c to. We recommend that you do not have to sit on the sidelines and watch this movie. I give this film a green light.
